Join us for a Meet and Greet with Durham's librarians in a non-threatening and fun way!

For individuals of all ages with special needs, their families and caregivers.

Join Durham County Library for a sensory jump at the trampoline park, Sky Zone Durham! This event creates a quieter, accessible jumping experience for individuals with special needs.  For our exceptional guests, music will be modulated for comfort, jumpers will be allowed to have one chaperone jump with them for support, and a calming room will be available to help block out distractions. Come meet Durham’s librarians in a non-threatening and fun way, enjoy some food and ice-cream, and more! As always, Durham County Library events are free and open to the public. Please do not forget to register!

Address: SkyZone Durham: 1720 Guess Rd Ste 90, Durham, NC 27701

For more information contact Sarah Alverson at 919-560-0127 or salverson@dconc.gov

All jumpers are required to fill out a liability waiver. To save time the morning of the event, please feel free to fill out the Sky Zone waiver online prior to the event at https://durhamstore.skyzone.com/waiver/ .

This program was supported by grant funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the federal Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the State Library of North Carolina, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
