DIA-Diversity in Action- Día del Niño- Children’s Day- Book Day

Hosted by Durham County Library, Book Harvest, and the Multilingual Resource Center of Durham Public Schools

Come celebrate Children’s Day-Book Day with Durham County Library, Book Harvest, and the Multilingual Resource Center of Durham Public Schools!

Babies, children, and teens will be able to choose 10 free books thanks to Book Harvest. There will be all kinds of books in both English and Spanish.

Volunteers from the Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science will be teaching the kids and teens about different kinds of circuits.

There will be music, crafts, and thanks to the NC Science Festival, the science activities will be available to create and also take home too. It will be an educational and fun day so come celebrate with us!

Organizado por la Biblioteca del Condado de Durham, Book Harvest y el Multilingüe Centro de Recursos de las Escuelas Públicas de Durham

Lugar: 2107 Hillandale Rd. Durham, NC 27713

¡Venga a celebrar el Día del Niño con la Biblioteca del Condado de Durham, Book Harvest y el Centro de Recursos Multilingües de las Escuelas Públicas de Durham!

Los bebés, niños y adolescentes podrán elegir 10 libros gratis gracias a Book Harvest.

Habrá todo tipo de libros tanto en inglés como en español.

Voluntarios de la Sociedad para el Avance de los Hispanos/Chicanos e Indígenas Norteamericanos enseñarán a los niños y adolescentes sobre diferentes tipos de circuitos.

Habrá música, manualidades y, gracias al Festival de Ciencias de Carolina del Norte, las actividades científicas estarán disponibles para crear y también para llevar a casa.
